Hi! My name is Christaan (pronounced kris·tahn).
Photography is how I connect with people. I’ve followed boxers in the gym and musicians on tour, I've photographed prisoners, actors, sexperts, dancers, and people I’ve met far from home. Whether I’m working on a personal project, an editorial story, or a commercial assignment, I look for the small, unplanned moments that reveal something about the person in front of me.
I’m based in Philadelphia, work regularly in New York City, and travel for assignments.
